the potter’s vessel

~~ The Potter’s Vessel ~~

Today is Dec. 17, 2003. It is now 1:30 am. I could not sleep, for My God had started giving me this message before I went to bed at 12:30. I could not get it off my mind, so I came to the computer to try and type some of this tonight. May God bless this message and give it as His very own Word. For that is indeed what it is.

I will start this message with this Scripture: Jeremiah 18: 1. The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

2. Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

3. Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold; he wrought a work on the wheels.

4. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Jeremiah 19: 1. Thus saith the Lord, Go and get a potter’s earthen bottle, and take of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests;

2. And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,

3. And say, Hear ye the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

4. Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;

7. And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

8. And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.

9. And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.

10. Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee,

11. And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.

God has spoken here of the many and horrible sins of the nation of Israel. He told them he will break them as the potter’s bottle or vessel was broken. Here God is speaking of the fall of the OT. He said I will cause you to eat the flesh of your sons and daughters. This is prophecy of the OT people having to come into the NT and ‘eat?the spiritual ‘flesh?or food of the Sons and Daughters of the NT, the Holy Ghost filled Christians.

It is the same as I taught in the message on the fall of the OT. There was no longer any spiritual food left in the old way; no prophets, no priests, no kings, and no way of salvation. Why?

They have sinned so much and because there was no faith, for they were serving God under the law by which no flesh shall be justified, therefore God did away with that old covenant. But what preceded this? The breaking of that Potter’s vessel.

Go back to Jer. 18: 4. The vessel that the Potter made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

What vessel was this, which was marred in the hand of the Potter? It is very important for you to learn this message.

Isa. 52: 13. Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

14. As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

15. So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

Now who is this servant which was exalted? But his visage was so MARRED more than any man and his form more than the sons of men? Who is this? How was his visage marred?

Isa. 53:7. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

This is clearly identifying the marred and broken vessel or bottle as the crucified Jesus. …. It pleased the LORD to bruise him…he is led as a lamb to the slaughter. This is that earthern vessel which the Potter wrought on the wheel. This is the vessel made of clay, which the potter marred. Jesus was slaughtered as a sheep. He was the vessel of clay being broken.

Lam. 4:2. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!

Here we have God bringing forth precious sons of Zion as earthen pitchers or bottles or vessels. This is the work of the hands of the potter.

Now for a Scripture showing that the earthen vessel is the human body: 11Tim. 2:20. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

21. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

1Peter 3:7. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered

Now there are two Scriptures proving that we are speaking of the human body as being this vessel or pitcher made by the potter.

Romans 9: 21. Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22. What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23. And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

The potter has power over the clay. What is the clay? It is the human body made of the dust of the ground. It is ‘first man Adam? It is this image of sinful man, which we are all in now.

But now did not he say that he had power over this clay body or vessel to make of the SAME LUMP of clay, one vessel unto honour and another vessel unto dishonour…of the same lump of clay?

What then are the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction? It is the first -man Adam human body that we are all in in this life. So then he is saying that of this very same lump of clay he will make two different vessels; one of honour and the other of dishonour. That is not spiritual which was first, but the fleshly was first, then afterward that which was spiritual. These are the two different vessels made of the same lump of clay.

The Potter made the vessel on the potter’s wheel. Then he broke the first vessel, or marred it in his hand, and took of the same lump and made it another vessel as it pleased him. This second vessel was the vessel of honour or glory. This one pleased him.

Eze. 10: 9. And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.

10. And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.

Now the potter uses the wheel to shape and make the vessel he is working on. So the living creature represents Jesus and the Christians. As we journey in this life, in the first-man Adam body, that potter’s wheel is at work in our life. But on the inside is another wheel at work. The potter has put another spirit into us, at the time he filled us with the Holy Ghost. So now the new man is starting to live inside us and form Christ inside us. So, now the potter has another wheel at work inside this human vessel or clay body. So this is the wheel in the midst of a wheel.

The potter is working on us both on the outside and the inside. He is preparing another vessel inside us. This is the vessel of honour. The outter vessel of clay is the vessel of dishonour. Proof? Sure.

1Cor. 15: 42. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43. It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

45. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

46. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

47. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

See that Paul said the natural body is sown in dishonour and weakness. But it is raised in power or glory.

So then both vessels existed inside the one. The Christ was growing and forming inside the earthly vessel of the person made from the dust of the ground, or potter’s clay.

By this we have proven that the first man Adam is not in honour or glory. It is that marred image or vessel. God was not pleased with this first image or vessel, so he marred it and made of the same lump another vessel of honour. How was this possible?

Heb. 2:9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

10. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

11. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

12. Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

13. And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

14. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

16. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

17. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

18. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Now here we are told that Jesus came here lower than angels for the suffering of death, or being broken by the Potter. This was when God marred that vessel of clay. Go back to Isa. 53 and read. It said that God bruised Jesus and broke him there at Calvary. Notice this said that as we children are partakers of flesh and blood, Jesus himself took part of the same and suffered and went into death. This was not glory. This had no beauty. This was not where the Word of God was made flesh. This body of clay was not in honour. We prove in 1Cor. 15 that the human bodies, at death, are sown in dishonour and weakness. So was Jesus?body sown in dishonour. Death is no honour. So Jesus was here in a vessel of weakness and dishonour. He was that first vessel the Potter wrought on his wheel.

Jesus is that vessel which the Potter broke or marred. But as I taught in the message of Emmanuel, Jesus had Christ growing or forming inside him to bring forth a Son of God in honour at his resurrection. This is when and where and how God the Potter made the same lump into another vessel of honour. This is where and when and how the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us in honour; at the resurrection of Jesus.

See that our Scripture in Heb. 2:10 said that by this act of making Jesus into a new vessel of honour, he would bring many sons to this same glory.

Romans 8:29. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

God predestinated that those whom he foreknows by placing His Spirit into us, or Christ inside us, forming Christ in us, that we should be conformed to the IMAGE of his Son.

Now I ask you, is God bringing us forth as a God? If we are to be in the image of his Son, then whatever his son is that is what we shall be like. So will we be God? No. Of course not. Then neither is Jesus God. Not even now. If so, then when God brings us into the image of Jesus, then we would have to be God. But this is just not taught in His Word.

So then what is true?

Christ is the image of God. Christ is the Word. Jesus is not the Word. Christ was inside Jesus. God was in Christ. Christ is the anointed one. God anointed Jesus. God placed His Spirit into Jesus and caused Jesus to be conformed to the image of God. So by placing his Spirit into us, he causes us to be conformed into the image of Christ. Thus we become a vessel of honour, or resurrected into Glory.

Jesus did not have the glory before the Resurrection. Go back and read our Scriptures. He was a man of sorrows and no beauty that we should desire him. This shows there was no glory until he was resurrected. This is when the Word was made flesh, at this resurrection. This is when the potter made the vessel of honour. The first-man Adam vessel or body of clay was not any glory or honour. It was dishonour and corruption. It was killed and laid in a grave. It was marred in the hands of the potter to be made again into another vessel of honour.

So by this we find that God made a vessel of clay, an earthen bottle, or body and placed His Word into that human vessel. His Word is the Christ. His Word is the Seed of life. His Word is the power. His Word spoke the world into existence. His Word created our bodies. His Word knows every working of our bodies. His word knows how to heal our bodies when we are sick or broken in any way. His Word is the Power. Jesus, the human vessel of clay was not that power or that Word. The Word was poured into that vessel.

The Spirit of God, or the potter, took this vessel and broke it at Calvary. Then he took of that same lump, Jesus, and made it into another vessel of honour, the resurrected, glorified Christ Jesus. The power and the Word of God were still inside this man, this new vessel, and this vessel of honour. Now all the same power of God, the Word was given to this new man. The old man was laid down in dishonour. The new man now lives eternally with the glory of God in him.

People, we are to be made into that same image. We are to come forth at the resurrection, in the likeness and glory of Jesus. We will then bear the image of the Heavenly as we have borne the image of the earthly. We are now in the image of the marred, broken vessel of weakness. But inside this earthen vessel of clay, is that seed of life, the Holy Ghost, the Word of God living. The wheel of the potter is at work inside me to bring me forth a new vessel of honour at the resurrection.

John 12:16. These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

23. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of manshould be glorified.

24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Luke 24: 26. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

Now don’t you see from the above Scriptures that Jesus had to suffer and die BEFORE he entered into his glory? Then see that in the vessel of clay he was in before death, that this was not the GLORY of the Father? This was not the Word made flesh, for it said we beheld his GLORY. So before his resurrection he had no glory. He was a vessel of dishonour for he was in this human clay body of death. The Word of God was placed into that vessel to give out to us, but that was not the flesh of glory, which the Word was made into. He had no glory before the resurrection. This entire message proves that without a doubt.

Only one willing to call the entire Word of God a lie to back up man-made doctrine could continue to call Jesus the man God; the Word in flesh, or to say that God robbed himself in a body of flesh. Where is one Scripture saying that? See that there would be no way to understand the message given here from Jeremiah and Isaiah about the breaking of the first vessel if you say that human vessel was the eternal God? You could never possibly understand the Word of God believing that lie.

If Jesus had been God in this life, none of this could be true. If Jesus had been in honour or glory before his resurrection, none of this could be true. How can you explain any of these Scriptures and say that Jesus was God? It is not possible.

Luke 24:30. And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

31. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Now the reason Jesus broke this bread here and gave it to his disciples was showing them that what he had said to them the night he was taken was now true: He had said this is my body which is BROKEN for you. Eat this bread in remembrance of me. He gave this broken bread to them now signifying that he will now divide his ‘body?of spiritual life to them by giving them of his Spirit, the Holy Ghost. He now lets them share in being a servant of God with the I AM, the Word inside them, in power, to show the world the Father as Jesus had done. “All that I do shall you do and more?

So this is more proof that Jesus?death at Calvary was the Potter breaking his first vessel of clay.

Isaiah 53 1. Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath neither form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

When we see him, there is no beauty. This lack of beauty shows there was no glory in that first vessel, the human Jesus. He only received his glory or beauty after he was resurrected into new life, or the new vessel made on the wheel of the Potter.

Jesus was that vessel which was marred in the hands of the potter, God, and then made into a new vessel of honour. He was declared to be the only begotten Son of God in the likeness and glory of God by the Spirit of Holiness by the resurrection from the dead. Rom. 1:3. Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

4. And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

Jesus was made of the seed of David, His Father, according to the FLESH. See he was human flesh. Then declared to be the Son of God with POWER, or a new vessel of honour, by the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

When he was dead, there was no glory, no power, no life, no honour, and this could not have been God.

Jesus had an old man nature, or vessel of clay, same as we do. He had a new man, the Emmanuel, growing inside him, same as we do. He had the Word of God inside him. This was the I AM. That Word is the I AM, not that human vessel of clay.

John 14: 24. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word, which ye hear, is not mined, but the Father’s which sent me.

28. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

31. But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Jesus said the word I speak is not mine, but the Father’s. He gave me a commandment what to say. This proves Jesus is not the Father, nor God. The Word was God’s Word.

☰  This is a very good read. Please meditate on the word: “Dust” when you read this.2 Esdras 7  Why is 2 Esdras shown with the King James Bible?1 And when I had made an end of speaking these words, there was sent unto me the angel which had been sent unto me the nights afore:2 And he said unto me, Up, Esdras, and hear the words that I am come to tell thee.3 And I said, Speak on, my God. Then said he unto me, The sea is set in a wide place, that it might be deep and great.4 But put the case the entrance were narrow, and like a river;5 Who then could go into the sea to look upon it, and to rule it? if he went not through the narrow, how could he come into the broad?6 There is also another thing; A city is builded, and set upon a broad field, and is full of all good things:7 The entrance thereof is narrow, and is set in a dangerous place to fall, like as if there were a fire on the right hand, and on the left a deep water:8 And one only path between them both, even between the fire and the water, so small that there could but one man go there at once.9 If this city now were given unto a man for an inheritance, if he never shall pass the danger set before it, how shall he receive this inheritance?10 And I said, It is so, Lord. Then said he unto me, Even so also is Israel’s portion.11 Because for their sakes I made the world: and when Adam transgressed my statutes, then was decreed that now is done.12 Then were the entrances of this world made narrow, full of sorrow and travail: they are but few and evil, full of perils,: and very painful.13 For the entrances of the elder world were wide and sure, and brought immortal fruit.14 If then they that live labour not to enter these strait and vain things, they can never receive those that are laid up for them.15 Now therefore why disquietest thou thyself, seeing thou art but a corruptible man? and why art thou moved, whereas thou art but mortal?16 Why hast thou not considered in thy mind this thing that is to come, rather than that which is present?17 Then answered I and said, O Lord that bearest rule, thou hast ordained in thy law, that the righteous should inherit these things, but that the ungodly should perish.18 Nevertheless the righteous shall suffer strait things, and hope for wide: for they that have done wickedly have suffered the strait things, and yet shall not see the wide.19 And he said unto me. There is no judge above God, and none that hath understanding above the Highest.20 For there be many that perish in this life, because they despise the law of God that is set before them.21 For God hath given strait commandment to such as came, what they should do to live, even as they came, and what they should observe to avoid punishment.22 Nevertheless they were not obedient unto him; but spake against him, and imagined vain things;23 And deceived themselves by their wicked deeds; and said of the most High, that he is not; and knew not his ways:24 But his law have they despised, and denied his covenants; in his statutes have they not been faithful, and have not performed his works.25 And therefore, Esdras, for the empty are empty things, and for the full are the full things.26 Behold, the time shall come, that these tokens which I have told thee shall come to pass, and the bride shall appear, and she coming forth shall be seen, that now is withdrawn from the earth.27 And whosoever is delivered from the foresaid evils shall see my wonders.28 For my son Jesus shall be revealed with those that be with him, and they that remain shall rejoice within four hundred years.29 After these years shall my son Christ die, and all men that have life.30 And the world shall be turned into the old silence seven days, like as in the former judgments: so that no man shall remain.31 And after seven days the world, that yet awaketh not, shall be raised up, and that shall die that is corrupt32 And the earth shall restore those that are asleep in her, and so shall the dust those that dwell in silence, and the secret places shall deliver those souls that were committed unto them.33 And the most High shall appear upon the seat of judgment, and misery shall pass away, and the long suffering shall have an end:34 But judgment only shall remain, truth shall stand, and faith shall wax strong:35 And the work shall follow, and the reward shall be shewed, and the good deeds shall be of force, and wicked deeds shall bear no rule.36 Then said I, Abraham prayed first for the Sodomites, and Moses for the fathers that sinned in the wilderness:37 And Jesus after him for Israel in the time of Achan:38 And Samuel and David for the destruction: and Solomon for them that should come to the sanctuary:39 And Helias for those that received rain; and for the dead, that he might live:40 And Ezechias for the people in the time of Sennacherib: and many for many.41 Even so now, seeing corruption is grown up, and wickedness increased, and the righteous have prayed for the ungodly: wherefore shall it not be so now also?42 He answered me, and said, This present life is not the end where much glory doth abide; therefore have they prayed for the weak.43 But the day of doom shall be the end of this time, and the beginning of the immortality for to come, wherein corruption is past,44 Intemperance is at an end, infidelity is cut off, righteousness is grown, and truth is sprung up.45 Then shall no man be able to save him that is destroyed, nor to oppress him that hath gotten the victory.46 I answered then and said, This is my first and last saying, that it had been better not to have given the earth unto Adam: or else, when it was given him, to have restrained him from sinning.47 For what profit is it for men now in this present time to live in heaviness, and after death to look for punishment?48 O thou Adam, what hast thou done? for though it was thou that sinned, thou art not fallen alone, but we all that come of thee.49 For what profit is it unto us, if there be promised us an immortal time, whereas we have done the works that bring death?50 And that there is promised us an everlasting hope, whereas ourselves being most wicked are made vain?51 And that there are laid up for us dwellings of health and safety, whereas we have lived wickedly?52 And that the glory of the most High is kept to defend them which have led a wary life, whereas we have walked in the most wicked ways of all?53 And that there should be shewed a paradise, whose fruit endureth for ever, wherein is security and medicine, since we shall not enter into it?54 (For we have walked in unpleasant places.)55 And that the faces of them which have used abstinence shall shine above the stars, whereas our faces shall be blacker than darkness?56 For while we lived and committed iniquity, we considered not that we should begin to suffer for it after death.57 Then answered he me, and said, This is the condition of the battle, which man that is born upon the earth shall fight;58 That, if he be overcome, he shall suffer as thou hast said: but if he get the victory, he shall receive the thing that I say.59 For this is the life whereof Moses spake unto the people while he lived, saying, Choose thee life, that thou mayest live.60 Nevertheless they believed not him, nor yet the prophets after him, no nor me which have spoken unto them,61 That there should not be such heaviness in their destruction, as shall be joy over them that are persuaded to salvation.62 I answered then, and said, I know, Lord, that the most High is called merciful, in that he hath mercy upon them which are not yet come into the world,63 And upon those also that turn to his law;64 And that he is patient, and long suffereth those that have sinned, as his creatures;65 And that he is bountiful, for he is ready to give where it needeth;66 And that he is of great mercy, for he multiplieth more and more mercies to them that are present, and that are past, and also to them which are to come.67 For if he shall not multiply his mercies, the world would not continue with them that inherit therein.68 And he pardoneth; for if he did not so of his goodness, that they which have committed iniquities might be eased of them, the ten thousandth part of men should not remain living.69 And being judge, if he should not forgive them that are cured with his word, and put out the multitude of contentions,70 There should be very few left peradventure in an innumerable multitude.

who required this

Who required this of you?

By: Jo Smith ~~~ August 10, 2018

Isaiah 1: 11~~To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord:

I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts;

and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

12

When ye come to appear before me,

who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

God asked these Israelites, Who required you to sacrifice all these animals and think that is the way to me? He goes on to tell them that everything they do is an abomination to him….their songs, .. their burning incense. . even their Sabbaths. etc.

If God required this of them, why is he asking them who did it? Also why would it be an abomination to him? Have you ever wondered….. or did you even know this is in Scripture?

13…Bring no more vain oblations;

incense is an abomination unto me;

the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with;

it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Their solemn meetings are iniquity!

See God is telling them I want nothing to do with these things you call worship.

Hebrews 10: 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 in burnt offerings and sacrificesfor sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Here God tells them the blood of animals could never take away sins….(we have churches which say the same thing about the blood of Jesus….he can never make you clean and without sin).

But notice verse 5… God said he had no pleasure in those burnt offerings and sacrifice. So He did not require this. So then, who did?

Psalm 40:6

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Here we have another solid proof that God did not require those animal sacrifices.

Deuteronomy 10:12

And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Deuteronomy 18:19

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Many people will fall here for they pretend to speak in His name and yet they do not hearken to his words.

Deuteronomy 23:21

When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee

When you vow something to the Lord you better do what you say, for he will require it of you and it will be sin if you do not keep that bow.

Micah 6:8

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Now there is what God does require of us.

So the essence of this message is this: when you do what you call ‘worship’ who required it of you? Did God require what you do?

1. You say you must run to some church regularly each week. Who required this of you? where is it recorded?

2. You say you celebrate the birthday of Jesus…. Who required this of you? Where is that recorded?

Do you not know that God said, do not add one word to mine and do only what I have COMMANDED, OR REQUIRED you to do as worship to me.

So to be safe with God, you had better find what God requires of you and do ONLY THAT.

3. You say you celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with egg hunts and such… Who required this of you?

4. You run to your church to do a new years thing…who required this of you? Does God approve of it?

5. You must pay some man to preach to you and ‘pastor’ your church. Who required this of you?

6. You shun people that you feel are not as good as you. Who required this of you?

7. You think your duty is to be at your personal church whenever they have a doing. Who required this of You?

8. You decorate green trees and give out presents for your ‘jesus birthday party’. Who required this of you?

9. Now you even keep satan’s sabbath, halloween by doing your trunk or trick. Who required this of you?

It is all an ABOMINATION TO THE LIVING GOD.

Yet you all feel so righteous and holy and above others in your doing the things that are an abomination to God.

Anything Jesus said to do is REQUIRED. He said, search the SCRIPTURES. HE SAID present your body a living sacrifice; not being conformed to this world. Why do you not obey what he requires of you?

Amen!

The Most Mistranslated Words

taken from comments on last year’s messages:

I suppose the most MISTRANSLATED and misused words in this world and scripture is this:..’the word was made flesh’….these words are destroying almost everyone, due to the made up meaning…not once proven with scripture…..I had a discussion a while back with a person on Jesus not being the word of God….this person repeated those same words over and over and over, not allowing me to say a thing…as though those words proved the lie they believe. Do some work; research…prove the real meaning with Scripture, or the Word.

see, they have heard the lie and false meaning of that phrase until they think they prove the lie just quoting those words….but that is isolating the words from the rest of Scripture, which is always wrong. they would rather believe a lie and be damned than to listen to the truth, study and learn.

last night as I was reading one of my messages, I found a ‘new one’ I did not even know: VALLEY….yes, in some scriptures it refers to water baptism as in Romans 6.

so when THEY fled to the VALLEY, it actually means those OT law folks, running to NT salvation, via water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ…yes. that is the VALLEY they ran to. I was totally shocked when I saw this. never once even thought such a thing…..how I love being taught by God and not some money-hungry man.

just now, thinking of this ‘before-unknown’ meaning, scripturally, for ‘valley’…this came to me;… yea, though I walk through the VALLEY of the SHADOW of death……ROMANS 6… why fear evil…it is for salvation… no evil will come now….I have gone through that valley of the shadow of death…into that watery grave,,,risen up in the likeness of HIS RESURRECTION…so thankful for the glorious BREAD that God feeds me, daily.

(this is some very good information; so glad I found this again)
Larry said:
Larry Bray ~~~Sis. I do not know if you remember it or not. I did a message on the gates of Nehemiah and one of the gates was the gate of the valley. I said at that time I did not have any idea what that gate was. That the only place I could see was in Psalms 23. So I asked you and you said you had no idea. So now we know. Yes, I also love being taught by God. I am fixing to post a short message that God revealed to me today as I was driving down the road. I will post it a few minutes

Me: you are right, Larry. I do remember you did a message on that subject.. I hope we can find it for I wish to read it again. I fully cannot keep things in mind, even when I wrote it. wish I could contain it all. but yes, we did wonder about that valley gate….Oh that would go so good with this message.

The Real Jesus Christ

I just thought I would post some more of this, because I am truly having an amazing time reading what is being discussed. Now, we shall read how Christians and Jews discuss the REAL JESUS CHRIST…So pull up a chair and let us begin: This sounds to me like GOD offered HIMSELF up to HIMSELF. So now GOD HIMSELF is in the form of sinful man. And offered HIMSELF up to HIS SINLESS SELF… I can not stop laughing!!!!!!

So God,being in the person of Christ made the perfect sacrifice by offering up Himself
to God that satisfied the justice of God. And did this without ever not being God.

As for the virgin birth of Christ, all three in the Godhead were involved in it. The humanity of man and the diety of God were joined in the womb of the virgin.
Both impossibilities ,but without exception,true.

You are taking a negative view of the trinity because you have determined to not believe it. I’m sure that the bible you use must have side notes that support the trinity, but you ignore them and insist on believing the unsupported negatives of it.

2nd Samuel 22

Good Afternoon,

I just thought I would put here what I read this morning. Now, I know that many

of you that will come here, will think that I am stark raving mad about what I am

going to say. But, it does not matter. Prove me wrong with the WORD. That is all I

ask for you to do.

Now, let us begin, Let us go to 2nd Samuel 22. And we shall start at verse 1 and

work our way down. Now, another thing before I begin, I would like to tell you just

because you have been taught that who is speaking in these verses is David, I will

show you that it is David speaking about Jesus. And Jesus speaking about things,

and also Eve is speaking in these verses. If you think now, I am crazy and do not

know anything, stop reading right here and now,  and go and play on Yahoo Answers.

2 Samuel 22:1 (KJV)
1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

Read the above verse very carefully, it says: David spoke. So, you automatically

think that it is David speaking. Yes, in the literal sense he is speaking. And yes,

this happened along time ago. But these words still apply today. This very

minute. Now, that you have read it, who was David referring to? He spake unto

the Lord. Yes, David did that, and also Jesus did that, and also Eve did that, and also

we will and have done that. Do you understand what I am trying to say? If not, proceed to

Yahoo and play! I mean it! This is not for you.

We will discuss this, In the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies.

Yes, David had enemies. And the Lord did deliver him out of the hands of his enemies, and also out of the hands of  Saul. Who had sought to kill David.

If you do not know who Saul is, please read up on who he was and why and how

many times he tried to kill David.

But did Jesus himself not have enemies? He had plenty. A whole race of people

hated him. And did not GOD many times deliver Jesus out of the hand of all his

enemies? Yes, plenty of times. But it is important to emphasize that the verse says:

“IN THE DAY”.  Now what “DAY” do you think this one verse is talking about?

We are discussing Jesus, not David.  In the day was the day that Jesus went to

cross and died for our sins. I know that you are sitting there saying: “This

women needs a doctor”. But I am telling you the truth. So what does that make

that verse? A prophecy! YES. It is a prophecy about when Jesus died on the

cross. And David spoke it. See all scriptures talk of Jesus. Now, how could by

Jesus dying on the cross deliver him out of the hands of all his enemies? Let me

ask you this: “Can your enemies get to you when you are in the grave?” No.

I will have to study out more on how this verse applies to EVE. Her enemy is the

serpent. And that is her husband Adam. Yes. He was a serpent. He thought like

one and is one. And will finally die like one on Judgement Day.

Now let us look at the second verse:

2 Samuel 22:2-10 (KJV)
2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

Who is the ROCK in scriptures? It is Jesus, he is our ROCK, and our fortress and our deliverer. Who delivers us from our sins? Not GOD. JESUS. So this is another saying out of David’s mouth about JESUS.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

Who is the GOD of the rock that David is speaking about? It is not JESUS. It is GOD the Father. And look at the rest of what David is saying: :In him will I trust”.

Did not Jesus also put his trust in GOD? Yes. Until death he put his trust in GOD. Until the day he died and rose from the grave. He put his trust in him, we are to put our trust in GOD,just like David and Jesus did. Do you see this? Is it not, wonderful?

4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;

6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;

7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.

Now, verses 4-10 speak of Jesus and Eve. Look at the verse: “When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of the ungodly men made me afraid”.

See, many will not see this as I do. Because they believe that Jesus was GOD from the moment he was born.

So when you see the verse, that he was afraid from the flood of ungoldy men, you will not believe that this is David speaking about Jesus.

Again another Prophecy. Yes. This is another  prophecy about Jesus coming from David’s mouth.

I will end this part here, so we can get some comments on it and discuss. Please do not be afraid to discuss anything with me.

What Waxeth Old

~ That which waxeth old ~

Mal. 1: 7. Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.

The table of the Lord…. The place one is fed spiritual food. The O.T., law people said His table is contemptible. They themselves had been the ones to pollute it. They hated doing the things God told them to do. They loved idols. They hated having to bring their best lambs to sacrifice to God, so they brought the lame, the sick and all sorts of diseased animals as a sacrifice to God. So God was very angry with them.

Eze. 20: 24. Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my Sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols.

25. Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

26. And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the Lord.

27. Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.

28. For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.

( This ‘land’ which he promised and brought them into is really the land of Grace, or the second Covenant; it is only typed by the natural land of Canaan .) They came into Grace and then turned back in their hearts to law, as their fathers had turned back in their hearts to Egypt; they wanted their idols. So they picked up all the idols around them. This is the polluted Church, keeping x-mas, Easter, and all the other idols.)

29. Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.

30. Wherefore say unto the house of Israel Thus saith the Lord God; are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? And commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

31. For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

32. And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

Now God has told the Israelites that because they polluted their gifts and Sabbaths that he gave them statutes that were not good and by which they should not live. See they could not live in their laws. They ran after all their father’s idols and offered their own children in sacrifice in the high place called Bamah. This is a high place of Baal.

Now in our previous studies we have found that God finally did completely away with that whole Old Testament. He said it had displeased him in every place. That law was the seventh head on the seven-head beast. So seven is the completed thing. Seven completes the week. That was the last head, it had waxed old and decayed. It perished away.

God brought in a New Covenant, sanctified by the blood of Jesus. That old covenant was sanctified by the blood of animals. It never did take away their sins. They never quit loving their idols. God hated them and cast them out of his sight.

Now God spoke to me yesterday and said to me, that which waxeth old and decayeth is ready to vanish away… this is the church.

I had never connected this with the church before. I have always seen that this is that law or the old covenant. I knew it was speaking of this. But I had never seen it as the church, even as much as I have seen that the church went back to law. It just never occurred to me.

Heb. 8: 7. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11. And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

13. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Now as I read this last night, I was wondering how the church could be with this first covenant which waxed old and decayed and was ready to vanish away. For I was still thinking of the first covenant as strictly O.T. stuff. But then God opened my understanding to this: Paul taught very clearly that the churches even in his day had all gone back to the law. We see clearly in the Book of Acts that even Peter said they had gone back to the law, and that we were not to go back to that bondage and keeping the law of Moses.

Galatians 5: 1. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

7. Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

Now I will conclude this message with this Scripture in Gal. 5. See that Paul told the churches that Christ has made us FREE. Be not entangled AGAIN WITH THE YOKE OF BONDAGE.

This yoke of bondage is the same yoke Peter said in Acts 15 was the bondage their fathers could not bear = the LAW.

That is the people we spoke of in the beginning of this message— that had polluted God’s table; polluted his Sabbaths, and offered lame, sick sacrificed, and killed their children in sacrifice to devils in Baal’s high places.

Yet now, this New Church has left the freedom Christ brought them into and went back to that bondage of law and idol worship.

So what was the results?

4. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Christ is now of no effect to them, they fell from GRACE, WHICH IS THE NEW OR SECOND COVENANT.

So, see, now they are not a part of the new or second covenant of Grace. They went back to that first, polluted, and rejected, decayed old covenant, which God had done away with.

It had waxed old, decayed and was ready to vanish away. This is how the church became that which has waxed old, decayed and is ready to vanish away. They picked right back up on the law and became a member of that first, old, decayed covenant of law. They are not a member of the new covenant of Grace. So they are a part of the covenant which is to vanish away.

This is why she is said to be twice dead, plucked up by the roots. She was first in that Old Testament of law, which decayed and was rejected by God. Then she started this whorish church and again became polluted, decayed and is now rejected by God. So this is twice she has become dead. This time she will be plucked up by the roots and will never be again.

In the New World, which is soon to begin, and into which some of us have already entered by coming out of her and becoming a separate and peculiar people to our God. We are not serving him under that old, corrupt, polluted table. We are eating clean heavenly food. We are partaking of God’s Holy uncorrupted table. It is not contemptible! It is most glorious.

But whorish Babylon, the twice dead, corrupt church cannot eat at this table, for to her it is contemptible. Why? Because she STILL LOVES THOSE IDOLS. She still sacrifices her children to devils. She teaches them to love Santa Clause, Easter Bunnies, x-mas trees, ungodly television and movies. She teaches them to run around naked or nearly there. Those who love their idols could never see this true table of God, which forbids idols, as something delicious.

Heb. 6: 4. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

7. For the earth, which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

8. But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

9. But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

Now right here is also proof that ‘once saved, always saved’ is a lie. (As they teach saved)

V4– once enlightened, = came to see and understand the New Covenant = Grace.

. Tasted the heavenly gift, and were partakers of the Holy Ghost… they had actually come into Grace and received the Holy Ghost.

V5–and had tasted, or understood the good word of God, and the POWERS of the world to come (coming into the life beyond church-hood)…. It is IMPOSSIBLE to renew these people AGAIN unto repentance, IF THEY FALL AWAY.

Now what is this ‘falling away?’. It is what Paul said in Gal. 5, that if you go back to one tiny part of law, you FALL FROM GRACE, BY WHICH CHRIST IS THEN OF NO EFFECT TO YOU.

If He is of no effect to you, you are not in the New Covenant, sanctified by his blood, and you will be eternally LOST. For see verse 5 here in Heb. 6- it says it is IMPOSSIBLE to renew those people who FALL AWAY… fall away from Grace. For this is crucifying Jesus all over again and doing despite to the Spirit of Grace.

By one Spirit are we Baptized into on body, which is the body of Christ or Grace. This is the only way in. Keeping Law does not get you in. And it will not keep you in; it takes you away eternally.

This is why people under the law cannot understand what the Word teaches. This is why their preachers turn to ‘sermon’ books and commentaries to get sermons, for they cannot ‘hear’ the truth. They do not understand what they read. It is foreign to them. It is an unknown tongue. The law is what bears briars and thorns. If you go back to law, this is rejected. It blinds you so you can never see or hear truth.

Hebrews 9: 1. Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

2. For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

3. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

Now see that the first covenant (law) has a ‘worldly’ sanctuary made by hands. This is today the physical church buildings; it is also our human bodies, which are still in the flesh and not on the altar of sacrifice to God.

8. The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

Now this is saying that as long as this first worldly sanctuary is still standing, the way into the second covenant or testament, the holiest of all, is not made manifest. This is profound! It is showing that as long as the ‘church’ which has gone back to law, is caught up in their worldly, outward building or sanctuary, that they will never find the way into the true sanctuary which God pitched and not man.

All these church buildings are made by man, and will blind you to truth. As long as you are thinking you must go to one of them for salvation, you are still under that first covenant of law. You think you must tithe.. You are under law = that first, old, decayed, done away with first testament.

You think you must keep a weekly Sabbath, you are under law, doomed to hell; unless you have never had the Holy Ghost and can still find that place of repentance, and then continue on in the New Covenant, without picking back up the law.

All who now serve under the law (which is almost everyone calling themselves a Christian) are lost and headed to hell. If you already knew the truth and had the Holy Ghost and then turned back to law, you cannot ever get back to God. It is IMPOSSIBLE. For you turned your back on the New Covenant purchased with the Blood and sacrifice of Jesus.

You put him to an open shame. If you think you must ‘go to church’ you are under law and lost. Unless you can turn all this loose and come into pure faith and walk by Grace, not tied to anything but pure faith in the Word of God, you are lost. You are under the old covenant, which is decayed and done away with.

Come out of her my people; come up hither; are both calls from God for His people to come out of Babylon, this whorish Jerusalem which healed that destroyed head of law and brought it back up again and once again made worldly sanctuaries for people to ‘worship’.

She is the ‘twice dead’ plucked up by the roots. She was the old testament ancient Jews or Jerusalem, the whole law bit Then she transformed herself into the whorish church and returned back to her vomit, the polluted tables of law, tithing, worshipping idols, and all that goes with that law way of life. She is twice polluted and now God is going to pluck up her roots so she will never rise up again. Only those of us who obeyed this call to ‘come out of her’ or ‘come up hither’ into his presence and grace, only we will be saved and given our inheritance of a glorified body.

The Graven Images

Micah 1:7
And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

Micah 5:13
Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.

Hosea 10:2
Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.

Hosea 11:2
As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.

Hosea 13:2
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
