Just doing a study and reading about Jesus and looking for a verse.
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:” — Philippians 2:9 (KJV)
When did the above happen? We know that Jesus was named by what the angel told him to name him. And that was on earth when this happened.
But, I am reading the the book of Enoch. The book of Parables. Which is Section 2 that starts on page 235.
Some very strange things I have read so far:
The sun. It changes for a blessing or a curse it says. (ENOCH 41).
And the course of the path of the moon is light to the righteous and darkness to the sinners. I wonder why that is?
Back to Jesus, In Enoch 48 (Page 239) it says:
And at that hour that Son of Man was named In the presence of the Lord of Spirits, And his name before the Head of Days. Yea, before the sun and the signs were created, Before the stars of the heaven were made, His name was named before the Lord of Spirits.
I could have sworn that I read somewhere that Jesus had a name Noone knew.
I gotta go search the scriptures to find out.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.” — Revelation 2:17 (KJV)
I was wrong. This above verses is about the saints.
