Was listening to a video today. I had listened to it a few times. This video was about Melchizedek and Jesus. Does he show Jesus?
Yes he does. Jesus is our High Priest. But something Melchizedek did I had it backwards, and I was reading it carnally.
It is Genesis 14:18. Melchizedek brought forth bread and wine. I thought Abram brought Melchizedek bread and wine. Oh silly me! I must really slow down when I read.
You do know what bread means in scriptures right? It means the Word of God. Wine would be salvation. That is Jesus.
He is not mentioned too many times in scriptures. But we must never give up reading. We must stay in the Word.
Just noticed that all this happened before God changed Abrams name to Abraham.
Build On The True Foundation 
The Word says that Melchizedek is /was the priest of the most high God. It says that Jesus was made LIKE UNTO THE PRIESTHOOD OF MELCHIZEDEK. Melchizedek was an eternal being; no father or mother. He is not Jesus. But now Jesus is a priest in Heaven for us; the same as M. always was for those in heaven. Yes you must show down where you study the Word. I read so slow now that I almost never get beyond one chapter at a time because it is opening up so fast now; to a total deeper world of understanding. I absob it and take it in and think on it. It brings in so much else is Scritpture from other places and that is how it all comes together. that is why many people never get this understanding… they never read the entire word enough to know what it actually does and does not say.
