I have been reading Daniel 2 for the last three days. And yes! I got off on my Word Study.
We gonna study about the “Lion” first.
In Daniel 7:4 it says: The first was like a lion and had Eagles wings. And the wings were plucked and lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
Now, in Rev. 13 it says: It is just 1 beast. It had 7 heads and ten horns. And it had a mouth of a “lion”.
I gotta study this out. It looks in Daniel 7: 4. The LION is a full kingdom.
And in Rev. 13 it is part of 1 kingdom made up of many other symbols. This is confusing.

OK. On my word study: “Lion”
Lion is a symbol of Judah. Jesus came from that tribe. Look at Rev. 1:11 and see what Jesus said: He is the first and the last. Now, in my notes about the Lion being the symbol of Judah, it takes me back to Genesis 49:9. And then Rev 5:5. As you can see, the beginning of the Bible and the end of the Bible.

In Daniel 7 it is speaking of the four kingdoms of the OT with their seven heads; due to the third one, the Leopard have 4 heads.
In Rev 13 it is speaking of the harlot church system that is the IMAGE OF THAT OLD BEAST. see that this one had in it the nature of all those in the OT. It is the seven churches in Rev. made up of those old sinful kingdoms in the OT.
